About IER

Built for the employee who does not know where to start.

IER began in 2021 with a simple idea: every employee deserves to feel heard and have a practical way forward. The model has evolved into a scalable employee-navigation service that supports the person while giving employers better aggregate insight into the systems meant to support them.

Why IER exists

The quietest employees are often carrying the heaviest friction.

Workplaces can have strong leaders, thoughtful benefits, and well-built HR programs—and employees can still feel stuck. Sometimes the problem is not the absence of support. It is uncertainty about what applies, who to ask, whether it feels safe to ask, or what a realistic next step actually looks like.

IER was designed to sit in that gap: independent enough to feel approachable, practical enough to help someone move, and structured enough to give employers useful anonymous insight.

What makes the model different

People first

IER starts with the individual's barrier, not with a preselected benefit or corporate process.

Navigation before escalation

The goal is to help employees understand the right route earlier—before confusion becomes a bigger workforce problem.

Insight without exposure

Leadership gets the recurring patterns it can act on without receiving individual employee conversations.

Built for the people behind the performance.

IER was founded by Tawnya Ritchie after years of working across people-facing operations, implementation, sales, growth, and healthcare environments—roles that repeatedly exposed the same gap between the resources an organization offers and an employee's ability to navigate them in real life.
